Rob Elo is an alternative R&B/soul singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based out of Yellowknife, NT, and initially from Vancouver Island, BC. “Think Death Cab For Cutie meets Tom Misch”, says Elo of his recent releases. “Darker lyrics, smooth vocals, and heavy pocket.”
On October 11th, 2024, he released his latest EP, ‘Same Mistakes’. The lead single, Waiting, plays more like a progressive rock song than the other R&B-centric tracks on the EP. Bass and drums were performed by longtime friends and musical compatriots Steven Taddei (bass) and Jesse McNeill (drums).
